Landscape Design

The Landscape Design Process

The design process starts with a consultation, in which our team will discuss your goals and better understand what's important to you. This is your opportunity to express any interests in certain plants, colors, themes, maintenance concerns, as well as provide our team an overall feel of the space we will be designing.

We then take multi-angle, high resolution photos of your space that we can import into our 3D landscape design software. This sophisticated software has the ability to take into account spacing for all types of plants, ensuring that as your landscape matures, it continues to fill out the space without overcrowding other plants or creating a maintenance burden on the customer.

The software also allows us to add hardscapes such as paver borders, water features, and account for any landscape lighting.

Once imported into our 3D landscape design software, our designer goes to work creating the perfect landscape solution. There are many factors that we consider for your custom landscape; the hardiness zone of the area (Charleston is zone 8B), colors that compliment your space, the plant knowledge and maintenance concerns of each customer, and many more.

Once we have your agreement on the design, we put together an estimate based on availability of local nurseries in the area.

The Landscape Installation Process

The installation process is the true beginning of our landscape inspiration coming to life. Once the installation day has been agreed upon and scheduled with our customers, we go to work purchasing all the necessary plants and supplies required for the job.
